About Me
Profile, career path, and technical focus at a glance.
I am Eslam Metawie, a Computer Science student in my 5th semester at Ostfalia University of Applied Sciences and a Working Student at GGU Software in Braunschweig. My focus is Software Engineering and DevOps: I build reliable software and automate the paths it takes to be tested, packaged, and delivered.
My studies and professional work run in parallel: at university I deepen the foundations of computer science, while at GGU Software I work on real release and automation processes every day. This combination shapes how I work β I think about software from architecture all the way to delivery.
In the DevOps space, I automate build, test, and deployment workflows and value maintainable, clearly structured solutions. Alongside that, I build my own projects β from full-stack web applications to pipeline configurations β and continuously expand my technical skills.

// How I Work
Engineering Philosophy
Good software is not created in the editor alone. Clean architecture and maintainable code are the foundation β but the path to production matters just as much: automated builds, meaningful tests, and releases that can be repeated without manual steps.
That is why I see DevOps not as a role but as a way of working: development and operations share responsibility for software arriving reliably. And because tools and platforms evolve constantly, continuous learning is a fixed part of it for me.
Maintainability
Clear structures and code the next team member will actually enjoy reading.
Automation
Recurring workflows belong in pipelines, not in checklists.
Testing
Automated tests as the standard, not an afterthought.
Continuous Learning
Regularly exploring and deepening new tools and concepts.
